I've been posting on this site regularly for almost a year now. I'm grateful to have space to share some of my writing. Still, I write much more than I ever post, being my own best/worst critic.

For the past few years, I've been writing longer narratives more than poetry with at least one novel-length text that's finally in a condition that's almost ready for the world. I'd like to start sharing it here, but I'm not willing to just give it away. In addition to the noise from my inner critic, there are many things I would prefer not to broadcast on the open internet, given the current climate.

I'm going to be completely offline for the next month or so, on silent retreat in the mountains in South Africa with dear friends and teachers. When I get back, my intention is to shift the setup here. I haven't finalized the details, but I'm thinking of creating a system of tiered memberships.

I will continue to share the everyday writing freely, but I'll add paid tiers that will offer access to additional writing, zine downloads, possibly videos, tarot, astrology human design &/or poetry readings, guided meditations or silent sits, chanting, yoga or yap sessions, virtual crafting parties, dharma discussions– could be anything. There are lots of possibilities I could offer.

I'm curious about what would be useful or fun, what people would be willing to subscribe and pay for. I realize comments are disabled on the site, but if anyone has any suggestions, requests or constructive feedback, feel free to reach out and let me know: betsy [dot] fagin [at] gmail [dot] com. The year of the Fire Horse brings great change, revolution. Let's go!!!!!
