Betsy Fagin is the author of Fires Seen From Space (Winter Editions), All is Not Yet Lost (Belladonna), and Names Disguised (Make Now Books). Self-driving, chosen by Kazim Ali as winner of the 2024 Autumn House Poetry Prize, is forthcoming in 2025. She works as a librarian and a meditation teacher in New York City, helping people navigate complexity. This is where she writes about getting free. She is currently at work on a novel.
