The poet and librarian that I am LOVE messing with media. Deliberately glitching printed text is kind of hard to do, but digital media makes it easy and fun. Reminds me of mimeograph machines, copies of copies. How meaning accretes and can be obscured, playing with false facts, seeding potential misinterpretations. I'm saying that filters can be fun and I cut off those captions on purpose. Clarity isn't always my objective. Here's a little video:

Mercury's out of its shadow at last and I feel like I can't write/edit/share fast enough. I've got a few different manuscripts I'm working on now– poetry and prose– but more fun than wading through drafts and pouring over outlines is playing on tiktok where I'm posting clips of stuff I like as I make my way through edits.
